Minimum 7+ Years of strong hands-on background in web & database application benchmarking, test automation, performance analysis, and capacity management.
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong expertise in assessing Non-Functional Requirements and creating performance test strategy identifying performance test needs, types of tests, scripting scenarios, volume projections, and designing workload models.
• Strong experience in designing performance load scenarios based on business requirements and real-world application usage patterns, developing test execution scenarios for various types of tests such as load, stress, duration/endurance, executing and analyzing test runs.
• Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in understanding & assessing performance of application developed on new and established computing architectures and environments (e.g., client/server, Web, mobile).
• Expert level hands-on experience using performance test tools like Load Runner (Performance Center), NeoLoad, JMeter, etc. and develop complex scripts with varied protocols like Web, API, Mobile, DB and GUI technologies.
• Strong experience in analyzing performance testing results, publishing results and presenting them to key stakeholders and leaders.
• Experience in installation, configuration, and Instrumentation of APM tools such as - Splunk/AppDynamics/Dynatrace/Wily Introscope Application and conducting system performance monitoring & troubleshooting.
• Experience with network performance monitoring, troubleshooting network performance (packet capture and analysis, TCP/IP performance)
• Experience in using browser add-ons like fiddler, Dev tools and diagnostics tools etc.
• Solid knowledge of various application architectures and their components and preferred hands-on experience in
• Benchmarking system performance, capacity sizing and optimization.
• Database performance analysis (MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
• Performance engineering (Tuning, Scaling, Deployment Architecture, Query Analysis)
• Java & Java script (JVM tuning, GC, heap, and thread dump analysis)
• OS (Performance Monitoring, troubleshooting & configuration)
• Ability to coach and mentor the project team on Performance Test Automation Strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and partners.
