Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Understand the Tarana Cloud Suite architecture and gain expertise in all the components involved
Attend feature design meetings, design comprehensive performance, scale, reliability test plans, create test cases and execute tests
Closely work with Dev teams to develop and maintain Microservice benchmarking.
Review test plans are written by other team members
Own regression test areas and ensure that the product quality is intact despite code churn
Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle
Ensure effective communication of project and testing status to all stakeholders
Debug problems reported by the customers and reproduce the same in lab environments
Evaluate performance testing tools

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in computer science or closely related disciplines 
4-12 years of experience in verification of microservices-based SaaS products deployed on cloud platforms is preferable
Exposure to one or more of - Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP etc., ELK [Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana], Kafta etc. 
Prior experience with performance/scale testing is preferable
Prior experience with one of the following tools is a must- Jmeter, Blazemeter, Gatling, Taurus.
Experience in functional and system level testing of APIs (familiarity with REST API, JSON, XML) and Frontend (UI)
Good understanding of QA processes and Agile methodologies
Exposure to Linux and understanding of Docker containers, VMs 
Knowledge of Networking concepts like switching and routing
Knowledge on ELK [Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana], Kafka 
Excellent debugging/analytical skills with a focus on solving problems
Experience with Jira and Confluence
