Responsibilities:
As a performance test engineer primary responsibility is the creation and maintenance of performance test plans, utilizing load testing tools to inject load, analyzing metrics from application and system logs, and simulating system behavior to improve the performance and reliability of applications.
Understand detailed feature requirements and Designs, establish performance test objectives, acceptance criteria, workload profiles and use case scenarios.
Runs performance tests, review test results and perform root cause analyses to identify problems
Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards
Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity
Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems
Integrate, maintain, and operate gateway and lab hardware and software systems & solutions.
Adapt automation first approach for the test - to sustain speed and agility of scrum.
Accurately report the progress on features/stories in the system.
Additional responsibilities will be
Influence product requirements & system test suits while working with product managers, system engineers & other work partners during requirements and Planning cycles.
Meet with customers, partners, product managers and business leaders to present findings, predictions, foresights; Capture customer specific requirements of business problems/processes.
Help build self-sustaining stronger System & Solution Test team.
Qualifications:

5 to 8 years of experience with proven track record as test engineer at product-based companies.
Peformance Test knowledge is a must.
Experience on Public Cloud (Google Cloud or AWS)
Experienced in E2E solution and performance testing involving web, device & cloud functions
Hands-on experience in test automation using python/java/robot framework.
Having google cloud platform test experience is an added advantage.
