The Performance Test Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance testing strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and stability of software applications. The role would involve collaborating with various stakeholders to identify performance requirements and execute comprehensive test plans. Having knowledge of retail domain would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Develop performance testing strategies aligned with project objectives and business requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to identify performance metrics and testing goals.
Design and implement performance test scenarios, scripts, and simulations using industry-standard tools.
Execute performance tests, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
Conduct root cause analysis of performance problems and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
Generate performance test reports, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (atleast 8 years) in performance testing, with expertise in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
Any other certification relevant to Performance Testing, Microservices, Cloud architecture etc.
