As a Performance Test Lead, the candidate should be responsible for leading and coordinating end to end performance testing efforts throughout performance testing lifecycle.
Responsible for developing test plan, test strategy and test approach documents, developing test scripts, executing performance tests, analysing test results, creating test reports, identifying performance bottle necks, and providing recommendations for performance improvements.
Work closely and collaborate with other development and functional teams for understanding application architecture and data flows.
Also, responsible for mentoring team members, managing the performance test environment and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills Set:
Minimum 8 to 12 years experience in performance testing and engineering activities.
In-depth knowledge in performance testing concepts, methodologies, and PTLC.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Jmeter.
3+ years of experience on Neoload or Loadrunner would be an added advantage.
Should be proficient and familiar with any one of the APM tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk
Proficient in understanding various performance metrics, profiling techniques, and analysing application logs would be desirable
Experience in micro-services, API Testing would be a plus
Should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ability to handle multiple projects, managing multiple priorities and able to work in dynamic environment with fast-pace
Experience in performance testing Mobile application using Andriod / IOS device, microservices-based application [API Testing], and Enterprise application testing would be an added advantage
Role Responsibilities:
Lead and manage performance testing activities from planning to execution.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand performance requirements and objectives.
Develop performance test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements.
Coordinate with development teams to identify performance test environments and data requirements.
Configure and set up performance testing tools and infrastructure.
Execute performance tests and monitor system performance during test runs.
Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Document performance testing processes, results, and findings.
Provide regular status updates on performance testing progress and escalate issues as necessary.
Mentor and guide junior performance testers in best practices and methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in performance testing tools and techniques
