Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Communication and Collaboration with Stakeholders. 

• Gather, Review, analyze, and validate the requirements for performance testing and translate them into KPIs. 

• Create Test Plans covering timeline resource (Man/Machine) and Test Estimations. 

• Design, Develop, and maintain the performance testing scripts. 

• Identify and validate the test objectives and define the test approach. 

• Work closely with stakeholders and development team to identify the performance issues throughout the SDLC. 

• Implement workload modelling and develop scripts using required techniques. 

• Conduct Performance Testing to ensure system’s reliability, capacity, and scalability. 

• Review Test Results and understand issues for troubleshooting. 

• Analyze throughput, scalability, and load testing metrics again test servers and compare system performance with varying physical resources (RAM, CPU, Network) levels. 

• Document and track performance issues. 

• Analyze root cause of performance issues and provide corrective actions. 

• Estimate and commit the task level effort and meet the deliverables. 

• Apply load on the APIs and analyze the bottlenecks. 

• Perform different types of performance testing. 

Must Have: 

• Prior experience in Bean Shell Scripting and Java programming skills. 

• Working proficiency with SQL querying, Database testing 

• Working knowledge on Performance testing and Monitoring tools, hands on experience in using Azure and JMeter 

• Knowledge of API Testing. 

• Basic knowledge on Groovy

• End to end artifacts related to performance testing.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Performance Testing with JMeter. 

• Extensive experience in performance testing of web-based applications including Web/API, Mobile applications and good knowledge of performance monitoring tools. 

• Should be able to play a critical role in the execution of performance testing. 

• Good technical ability in performance testing methodologies. 

• Experience in any one of the JAVA and Bean Shell is mandatory. 

• Strong Debugging skills. 

• Excellent communication skills.
