Responsibilities:
• On Prem, Private, Public Cloud Performance Testing
• Execute Change and Regression PE testing for in scope Applications and Platforms
• Conduct different types of PE testing, including load, soak, scalability, stress, etc.
• Drive PE Shift Left adoption to democratize PE testing - conduct training, boot camp, awareness sessions
• Capture and socialize most common performance issues/insights with key stakeholders to prevent those from happening
• Validate PE environment readiness and reconcile/address differences between prod and non-prod
• Maintain existing PE tooling, including version upgrades & conduct tooling R&D
• Support test data mining and test id/test data setup to enable PE testing
• Effectively partner with SRE, Architecture, App Dev, Infra Engineering and Capacity Management Teams
• Enhance PE capabilities for integration with build pipeline both On Prem and on the Cloud.
• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
QUALIFICATIONS
Primary skills
• 8+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Engineering
• Strong communication, interpersonal and Analytical skills
• Expert knowledge on JMeter and LoadRunner
• Knowledge of Technology Tooling: Monitoring and APM tools including Splunk, AppD, etc.
• Ability to Performance Scripting, Execution, Analysis, Tuning on Client Side and Server Side
• Experience working with varied technologies like .NET, Angular, WPF, Mainframe, Flex etc., performance analysis at different layers such as JAVA, UI and DB tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting PE testing for platforms like Kafka, Apigee, SOLR, MF DB2, SQL Always On, Azure Public Cloud, OpenShift etc
• Knowledge on Resiliency Testing including Chaos Engineering on Gremlin Chaos Eng tools or similar
• Understanding of application Architecture and its dependencies and failure points Strong experience in developing distributed/real-time applications using C#/ .NET/.NET Core
• Experience working on Agile/DevOps

• Experience in Wealth Management or a similar Financial environment
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
