We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with at least 11 – 13 years’ experience in software testing to join our team that is responsible for delivering entertaining Slot Games on sophisticated platforms and innovative hardware.
As part of the Land Based Games team, your primary responsibility will be to test C++ based Class 2 games (US and RSA), ATLS games, HHR & NYL games across various kinds of gaming hardware/cabinets and be responsible for ensuring high quality standards of games are delivered around the world.
What You'll Do
Conducts product requirements analysis and designs and builds test plans, testing strategies and executes test cases for manual framework.
Test various functionalities on games development for a variety of markets.
Analyze and verify best manual test approaches and execute functional, compliance, acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing.
Works with QA Manager/Leads in implementing processes.
Bring in ideas/innovations to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes, test cases.
Should be able to identify automation targets and execute to completion.
Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA/Zephyr is required.
Answer technical issues to resolve and follow up.
Exposure to Agile methodology and communication with stakeholders.
Suggests ideas to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes, test cases etc.
Modifies game code to trigger features as required by testing objectives to achieve desired test coverage.
Modifies game code to collect memory metrics, core dumps etc. using the tools and frameworks provided by Platform and/or game development teams.
What We're Looking For
B.Tech. / B.E. / MCA /M. Tech. in CS/IT/ECE with 11 – 13 years of Manual Testing experience.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders.
ISTQB/ ISEB certified.
Prior experience in the gaming industry will be a plus.
