As a Test Lead you will take up end-to-end ownership of the designated projects/products and help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the development and execution of test cases and QA processes that ensure quality throughout the release schedule. You will document test plans, test scenarios/test cases and test results.
Develop a strong functional and internal understanding of the product/system under test.
Identify use cases/scenarios and convert them to prioritized and, effective test cases.
Create Test bed representative of end user’s environment.
Execute tests within the stipulated time to meet the overall quality and project objectives.
Report early defects supported with all the required information in the “first go”.
Triage and track reported defects to closure.
Apply analytical skills to identify and debug the root cause of issues.
Functional Competencies:
Technical with a strong customer and quality focus.
Demonstrates sound knowledge and understanding of QA Processes, STLC and SDLC.
Good understanding of project planning and execution.
Ability to design effective Test Plans and Test Cases for product or product feature.
Ability to review and improve test coverage.

Prior experience of working in an Agile (Scrum) team will be an added advantage.

Possesses good working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including fundamentals of networking.
Experience in non-functional areas like Performance, Security, Interop/Compatibility Testing or Automation will be an added advantage.
