Key Responsibilities:
Establish an unified technology roadmap and framework to drive the automation activities pertaining to Data movement, Data Quality, Dashboard, UI, API, Performance, Load, sanity, regression, etc. across different analytics products
Should be instrumental in creating test strategy, exploring and shaping test automation framework
Should act as SME to the testing teams for both functional and automation
Understand product requirements and design
Execution of test cases, scenarios, and report results
Troubleshoot issues and report defects
Collaborate with product management to triage defects and conduct product beta testing and showcases with stakeholders
Work closely with application development, architecture, and infrastructure teams for automation, performance evaluation, and application analysis initiatives
Experienced in creation of Test Plan, Test Strategy, and Test Completion report documents
Must have knowledge of version control and code management like GitLab, Bitbucket
Instrumental in developing & identifying tools to optimize and improve the quality of testing
Drive innovation through a good understanding of data, business drivers, and business needs
Perform technical walk-throughs to communicate the understanding of System Architecture, Test Environment landscape within the team
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems and products
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of relevant experience in testing, software development/automation engineering (at least 5 years of relevant experience in designing test automation frameworks)
Experience in building an extensible, config-driven, pluggable, and modular test automation framework
Adept in performance testing, test optimization and application analysis initiatives to define success criteria
Adept in impact analysis, test estimations, and test planning
Expertise in test management and defect tracking tools like HP Quality Center, JIRA
Experience in end-to-end automated test case management, reporting, and bug tracking will be an added advantage
Proficient experience working on SDLC, STLC & Agile Methodology
Strong comprehension, analytical, and problem solving skills
Hands-on expertise in Python, Linux, and API testing
Expertise with Jenkins, Git, and DevOps tools and practices
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline using GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.
Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, familiar with RDS DB, Redshift or Snowflake
Hands-on exposure to the AWS cloud services
Working knowledge of Containers and Serverless platforms (AWS Cloud Formation), AWS Glue, and Athena
Dockers, ECS and EKS, EMR, AWS Fargate, SageMaker, API Gateway, Lambda
Familiar with monitoring tools like Grafana / AWS Cloud Watch
Any exposure to testing ML/AI-based software and data output
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies, including databases, web, web services, and reporting
Should be aware of Security compliances and design practice
Good interpersonal and communication skills, quick learner, and adequate troubleshooting capabilities
DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the Healthcare Laboratory domain is a plus
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Experience with columnar databases such as Vertica, and Redshift or experience in Big-data technologies is a plus
Sound knowledge of REST /SOAP web service, integration, vulnerabilities, and web service security mechanisms
