Role Responsibilities:
Test Strategy ownership for all current and new technologies and its implementation via real workloads.
Test Planning of the programs assigned
Test Execution of provided test plan.
Working with Validation Architect in Strategizing, Planning and test Execution
Working with Development & Validation teams located across geographies to drive test goals
Driving and delivering Automation for the Program undertaken and working with Automation lead to get it implemented
Brining in changes to the way testing is done due to external world technological changes as well as implementing PPAs.
Essential Skills:
Strong System and in-depth technical knowledge of Server, Storage, Networking, Operating system.
Minimum 8-11 years of prior experience as a hands on testing
Delivering as a Test Execution Engineer & proven expertise in working with Development teams
Understanding Program Requirements/Scope to define a workable plan
Planning capabilities requirements for the program e.g. effort estimation, hardware/infrastructure requirement
Exposure across 1 or many server platforms IBM, HP, Dell, Cisco etc.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor or Master Degree
At least 8 years of relevant experience in product validation, development, or related.
Priority setting skills
Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Ability to communicate clearly through oral and written communications globally.
