Collaborate with product, design and broader engineering teams on feature and functionality definitions to build test plans and schedules.
Coach others on how to use product requirements, system engineering requirements and BDD/TDD test techniques to translate requirements into testcases.
Coordinate with test leads across development sites for smooth implementation across teams, managing hand-off and escalations to ensure continuity,
Accountable for the quality of test deliverables and results across the teams assigned, ensuring compliance to applicable standards.
Can you drive these processes?
Ensure the creation of comprehensive test plans, manage schedules, and provide regular status updates on QA activities across multiple test efforts & teams.
Maintain accurate QA metrics/dashboards, participate in quality reviews, and identify improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous process improvement through RCA and CAPA initiatives, increasing both test efficacy and efficiency over time.
Identify and communicate project & schedule risks, balancing business needs with quality goals to deliver results.
You should definitely have:
Master’s and 5 years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Fluency in Unix/Linux shell scripting, Linux networking, and Linux container concepts
Strong knowledge of test and defect management tools like Zephyr and JIRA.
Working knowledge on CI tools like Jenkins to align with Dev-Ops Deployment process.
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and balance multiple objectives.
Experience in developing others through coaching, mentoring and feedback.
Strong attention to detail & ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Extreme sense of responsibility, accountability and passion for technology, quality of work and desire to learn & take ownership.
It would be nice if you had:
System Engineering, system integration, and telecommunications experience a plus.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
Basic understanding of WAN technologies and ARINC standards.
Good understanding of databases with some experience with SQL and NoSQL.
