Main responsibilities:
The jobholder is responsible for:
Providing support to the technical teams for process, methods and tools.
Performing the quality control and the quality assurance in compliance with the DO-178/ED-12, DO-254 and DO-160 objectives.
Main activities
The Product Quality Engineer responsibilities include:
Ensuring the efficiency and adequacy of the development methods in particular to comply with certification objectives.
Providing process support to the development teams on application of methods and tools.
Ensuring conformity of the Software and Hardware Quality Assurance Plan with the Regulatory requirements and AIRBUS referentials.
Verifying product life cycle data as per the applicable certification regulatory requirements.
Performing root cause analysis for product and process improvements.
Ensuring consistency, completeness and accuracy of the Quality Assurance records.
Performing the internal audit to prepare for the external audit done by EASA.
The Product Quality engineer will work in close relationship with the Development team, the Certification Authorities, Methods and Tools Specialists and other Product Quality Managers of the project.
Skills
Experience in development , verification and Quality assurance activities of avionics software and hardware.
Experience in the application of DO-178 , DO-254 and DO-160 on avionics product development.
Awareness of current electronic technologies, architectures, standards would be a plus.
Autonomy, good relationships, and team spirit.
Qualification
People from any field with relevant 4-6 years of experience can apply.
Preferred Qualification: B.E./M.E.
