Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test scenarios, test cases.
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Monitor debugging process results
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Manually creates and inputs test data or uses tools, programs or extracted production data to execute test cases.
Participates at requirements reviews, design reviews, system analysis and facilitates the testing review process.
Determines if manual and/or automated test tools should be used to execute test cases and uses automated test tools to execute the testing process. Creates automated test scripts and shares with others.
Develop, automate and maintain highly effective test cases during each sprint of the agile life cycle environment.
Improve automated tests, framework and tool sets to meet best practices and standards
Qualifications and Requirements
A degree B.E, B. Tech / M. Tech or MCA in a business or information technology, or related discipline.
A minimum of 2-7 years' of experience in system testing of software applications
Proven work experience in software development life cycle
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Good knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Experience in developing Automation Framework for web based with Selenium, Python or any equivalent automation tools
Experience with automated testing tools, performance and/or security testing is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. Also Spanish Fluency Preferred
Demonstrated skills and experience in working with virtual and geographically dispersed teams to develop/test software.
Work experience in a supply chain industry is preferable.
