5+ years’ experience as a Quality Analyst/Engineer
2+ years of strong SQL experience in Relational Database – SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase.
Must have worked in DW and ETL projects
Knowledge of ETL tools like SSIS.
Ability to write good SQL queries
Working experience with ETL testing tools like iCEDQ.
Database testing using Selenium WebDriver or similar.
Experience in testing inbound and outbound solutions in Data warehouse/Database/SQL oriented testing
Experience in mocking up test data in different file formats like xml, txt, csv, JSON
Good understanding of Automated testing and the tools used in QA automation framework
Experience working in an agile environment.
Solid understanding of SDLC processes, testing strategies and processes
Strong Testing Skills, Testing design, test strategy, test execution and reporting skills,
Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET
Must have: SQL Server, Data warehouse/Database oriented testing, Manual QA, Automated testing in database (inbound and outbound extracts)

Responsibilities
Identifies, creates, and executes the appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, and metrics) to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.
Coordinates/executes testing across multiple testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and Regression.
Mock up test data in Database and inbound files
Validation of different file formats like xml, txt, csv, JSON
Write ad-hoc SQL queries to identify test data.
Working within an Agile SDLC process.
Responsible for on-time completion with low defect detection leakage – through close interactions / reviews with other senior testers.
Identifies when test automation is appropriate. Coordinates, identifies, and executes test cases. Identifies, reports, and reviews defects in assessing application quality. Leads defect triage for smaller or medium initiatives.
Collects testing metrics, reports status as defined in test plan with supporting data.
