As Nuvolo’s QA automation architect, you will be responsible for executing functional and regression test cases within specified test environments with a high degree of accuracy.
As a QA automation architect, your role will include:
Work with the QA Manager to ideate the automation strategy for the products.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential automation opportunities and define project requirements.
Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Create and maintain automation frameworks, libraries, and test scripts for various applications and systems.
Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing, using automated tools and frameworks.
Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts and systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality automation deliverables.
Continuously monitor and analyze automation results, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of automated processes.
Stay updated with the latest automation technologies, tools, and best practices, and proactively propose their implementation to enhance automation capabilities.
Document automation processes, methodologies, and configurations for future reference.
Manages and maintains the repository and conducts peer review of the scripts to maintain code quality.
Provides regular status to the QA manager on the automation reports.

3. Ability to provide technical working solutions for customer problems and automation issues(troubleshooting the current automation limitations and working on solving the automation technical roadblocks).
4. Ability to understand end-to-end systems and domains from a testing point of view and provide solutions.
5. Ability to possess the latest industry knowledge on testing tools and technologies.
6. Ability to help in hiring correct candidates for various testing needs of the account.
7. Designing an efficient automation framework that adheres to quality standards.
8. Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, and test automation.
9. Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
10. Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, automation, etc.
11. Manage training and continuous learning of QA staff by means of short courses, conferences, meetups, certifications, etc.
12. Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
13. Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams.

8-12+ Years of IT experience in automation
Strong programming skills in Java.
Experience in automation framework design
Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver.
Experience working with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Git, bitbucket and JIRA.
Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation and verification.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of performance testing and monitoring tools like JMeter.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their automation tools.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Bonus points for:
Experience with JavaScript is a plus
Experience with ServiceNow is preferred
