Your role as a QA Automation Consultant is to design, create and execute test scripts using our preferred automation tool. Your goal is to deploy an effective test automation solution for our projects and managed services using our preferred test automation tool.
Responsibilities:
Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
Maximise test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
Build test scripts and automation frameworks.
Log and document bugs in the tracking system
Besides writing automated tests, Test Automation Engineers can still do exploratory testing when they need to understand how functionality manifests itself to the customer.
Requirements:
3-5 years Test Automation experience is required.
Experience in Enterprise Application is highly desirable.
Tools: Automation testing tools: Any test automation tool, TestComplete, Katalon, Cucumber, Selenium etc.
Test Automation Skills – Require experience of using an Automated Testing tool e.g. TestComplete, Katalon etc. to create and execute automated tests for SaaS applications
Analytical skills – Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes
Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems
Communication skills – Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the project team and create testing plans and written reports.
Experience of JIRA or a similar tool for defect tracking and task creation tool.
