We’re looking for a QA Automation developer to:
design, build and maintain an automation framework for testing the department's systems globally
manage, monitor and improve the infrastructure
develop custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity
define the automation book of work, collaborating with the team to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements via test automation
liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the bank including international locations
comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
Your expertise
previously held a developer / testing role, for ideally 6+ years within the finance sector, with understanding of modern web & legacy desktop technologies. Preferably in a large and global financial / IT organization.
proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability
able to perform regression testing for project, product and PRV (Production Readiness Verification)
automate Business acceptance criteria through Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using specification by example
hands-on experience with Web Services, REST API testing
good knowledge of SQL and RDBMS databases, ETL testing
hands-on experience in Java programming language or any programming language (Core Java, Python, C#)
hands on working knowledge of test and defect management using tools ALM (includes QC), JIRA (its various plugins) Confluence, Remedy, Excel ( including macros)
working knowledge of Unix / Linux environments to be able to read files etc.
good knowledge of DevOps and CICD pipeline, using Gitlab
knowledge on Selenium and BDD Cucumber Framework
non Functional
good understanding of non-functional test automation concepts and patterns (e.g. Availability, Scalability, Performance and Security)
core hands-on experience with non-functional test automation tools, framework and knowhow of respective language that tool uses (eg. JMETER (Java language), Performance Centre, LoadRunner (ANSI C Language), Locust (Python Language) HP Fortify) App Dynamics, Perf Mon, PowerShell, Oracle Perf Tuning, MS SQL
hands on experience using activity Usage Tools: FIDDLER, LDAP ADMINISTRATOR or similar
experience in testing web-based application with understanding of modern web & legacy desktop technologies
experience working in Scrum / Agile methodology, Jira, Confluence.
