Essential Job Functions:
Performance Testing
Collaborate with development teams to define performance goals and requirements.
Design and develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies.
Author and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter, Java, ReadyAPI (card services side), K6, and JavaScript (lending side).
Execute performance tests in performance testing environment.
Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
Propose and implement performance optimization solutions.
Prepare clear and concise test reports and recommendations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools and best practices.
Work closely with team members to thoroughly troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing processes and methodologies.
Test Design - Write automation test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby/Cucumber OR Java/Cypress/Selenium framework for multiple applications like web based, web services and database. Contribute to extending the existing framework.
Test Execution & Reporting - Execute tests as needed throughout projects, analyze and report test results. Identify and track defects through their lifecycle. Utilize defect management and organization skills, provide progress and metrics on test execution and defects to project team. Provide leadership while contributing to team and company objectives. Follow team and company standards and contribute to refine and improve process and procedure, while defining and maintaining test data.
Subject Matter Expert – Develop and maintain expert understanding of all of the components and functionality of the system and framework. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training on testing practices and advise impacts for system changes.
Business Communications – Demonstrate foundational knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory while working with various areas of the business. Demonstrate leadership by driving the automated testing of projects and collaborate with stakeholders in understanding the testing needs and reporting on testing results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or graduation or post-graduation
7+ years of related work experience.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of experience in performance testing
Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with JMeter/Java/ReadyAPI and K6/JavaScript stacks
Solid understanding of web application architectures and technologies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Adaptive and responsive to shifting tasks and priorities (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
