Responsibilities:
Understand User Stories and requirements to create automated test cases
Assist in maintaining and enhancing java-based automation test frameworks for backend batch and API testing. (Selenium with java and API Testing)
Implement and execute functional and regression tests on Java
Monitor test executions and analyse results
Analyse logs on Linux server
Report bugs in the issue tracking system
Requirements
1+ years of experience in API Automation (REST, SOAP) and Selenium with Java
Basic knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
Good English communication skills
Bachelor’s / Engineering degree (IT / Computer Science will be added advantage)
Desirable
Knowledge of UK and/or Euro payment schemes
Exposure to microservices architecture
Understanding of Messaging Queues (like Kafka)
Basic SQL knowledge
Hands-on experience with Docker
