We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with expertise in Robot Framework and Selenium, along with a strong proficiency in Python programming. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our software products.
Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development:
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Selenium for web application testing.
Develop reusable and modular automation libraries in Python to enhance test script efficiency and maintainability.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Communicate effectively with team members to share automation progress, challenges, and results.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD tools Jenkins to facilitate early and frequent testing.
Implement and maintain automated test execution as part of the CI/CD process.
Defect Analysis and Reporting:
Investigate and analyze test failures, identifying root causes and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Generate detailed and accurate test reports, highlighting test results, metrics, and any identified issues.
Automation Best Practices:
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in test automation.
Provide recommendations for improving test automation processes, tools, and frameworks.
Knowledge and Experience
3-6 Years of experience testing all phases of QA efforts required to successfully deliver automation scripts for Salesforce or any web-based applications.
Bachelor's degree or a related field.
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with a focus on Robot Framework, Selenium, and Python.
Strong programming skills in Python for automation script development.
Experience in creating and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Solid understanding of web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser automation.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of mobile automation testing.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Certification in automation testing is a plus.
