Job responsibilities:
Able to pick up and understand the domain and the project, being able to contribute quickly.
Being part of the scrum team & the larger automation team executing test cases for releases.
Contributing in automating the functional test cases by writing the test scripts and making sure they work.
Hands-on knowledge on Core Java, DB SQL Queries, Rest Assured , Postman, JMeter
Being able to test API’s independently from the API Testing knowledge
Well-versed with UI testing and being able to debug issues basic level
Understanding the scope of testing, boundary conditions, negative scenarios to be able to execute independently.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Proven ability to write automated tests
Detailed understanding of common defect and data management tools
Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile, and test automation strategies
Experience working effectively with teams and stakeholders to develop relationships and achieve common goals
Proficiency in a business function and some understanding of the broader business context
Being hands-on in writing test cases & automation scripts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and Skills:
Having worked in the Banking or Financial domain
SmartSpec
Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD
Core Java
