We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Copado Robotic Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have Quality Assurance (QA) experience with a strong background in Salesforce and a passion for automation testing. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications and automation processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases specific to Salesforce applications. Verify the accuracy and performance of Salesforce functionalities and integrations, ensuring they meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements for Salesforce enhancements.
Utilize Copado and related tools to design, develop, and execute test automation scripts for Salesforce processes. Collaborate with salesforce developers to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
Create and maintain an efficient and scalable test automation framework for Salesforce applications, incorporating Copado Robotic Testing where applicable.
Configure and manage test environments required for Salesforce testing, including Salesforce sandboxes and related software installations. Ensure testing environments align with production systems.
Identify, log, and report defects in Salesforce applications and automation processes. Work closely with the development team to track and resolve issues and validate defect fixes.
Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of QA and testing efforts with business requirements and objectives.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Generate reports summarizing findings and communicate testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
Train and support end-users on Salesforce best practices and usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce and Copado implementations.
Stay updated on industry best practices in Salesforce testing and automation, striving for ongoing improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in software testing, with at least 3 years of experience in Salesforce testing and QA automation.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms and processes.
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, including Copado Robotic Testing.
Scripting skills and experience in programming languages like Apex, Java, Python, or equivalent.
Familiarity with version control systems and defect tracking tools.
Experience in setting up and maintaining Salesforce testing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Salesforce and Copado certifications are advantageous.
