Understanding product requirements thoroughly, design, develop, execute tests
Continuously improve the testing processes to deliver greater value out of testing
Test Automation/Test case automation scripting
Demonstrate design patterns, SOLID principles to simplify the coding problems
Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks
Package tests, so that they can run in multiple environments, multiple stages in CI
What does this role require?
4+ years hands on experience in mobile testing (manual & automation) using Appium, Espresso, Xcode or similar tools.
Strong understanding of testNG and Maven
Strong understanding and experience testing React Native based applications.
Experience in working with cloud device providers like BrowserStack, SauceLabs,
DeviceAnywere, DeviceFarm, etc.
Expert in test automation design patterns like TDD, BDD (Cucumber,Specflow)
Very good in Java, Javascript or similar programming languages.
Understanding of clean code principles
Should have good debugging skills
Experience in APIs testing - manual (Postman/swagger) and automation (RestAssured)
Experience in Automating web-based application using Selenium 3.x or later is a plus.
Experience with Jira/ Industry standard tools for defect tracking, source code
management (Github/bitbucket), test case management and monitoring tools
Experience working with Agile methodology
Strong working knowledge of SDLC and STLC practices and procedures.
Experience in working on software development in a highly regulated industry, such as health care/medical device, and financial industry, and familiarity with regulations and compliance requirements.
