In this role, you will:
Understand product functionality and test it like a business user to cover all the functional requirements.
Write Functional and Integration test cases from the analysis of requirements document.
Understand the impact of changes as per new requirements and write regression test cases as per the new changes.
Do test execution & test proof documentation
Report bugs, defects & errors to the development team
Raise a defect in JIRA with understandable and complete description
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Coordinate and collaborate with Development and Product Management teams to ensure testing scenarios meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
Review existing test scenarios after gaining product knowledge
Our ideal profile:
0-3 years of work experience in IT Industry
Sound knowledge in API Testing and knowledge about POSTMAN tool
Good knowledge of SQL queries
Should have knowledge of various platforms like Windows, UNIX, Linux
Experience in Jira/ALM/any test management tool
Sound understanding of stalk process and all it’s phases
Experience in test case creation, test execution and defect creation and tracking
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
SQL/Unix-Linux commands experience / knowledge is needed as some of the testing would necessitate SQL skills
A positive attitude, good work ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure.
Great analytical skills to drive end to end functional testing
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be proficient in English
Should have problem-solving approach
Knowledge of python is an added advantage
Basic knowledge of automation framework
Ability to work on ad-hoc requests and switching between the tasks, if need be.
Motivated, self-driven and committed to complete tasks on time.
Computer/IT or relevant technical degreeI
STQB certification is an added advantage
