As a Quality Engineer, your main responsibility is to ensure the quality and reliability of products through comprehensive testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop and execute test plans, and communicate results. Your focus is on improving software quality and addressing any issues that arise. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential in this role.
What you’ll do-
Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms to ensure quality and performance.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts using Java and Appium.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software defects or issues.
Communicate test results, including defects to the relevant stakeholders.
Continuously enhance the mobile testing process, methodologies, and tools to improve overall software quality.
What you’ll need-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience in iOS and Android testing, ensuring familiarity with the specific challenges and requirements of mobile application testing.
Strong proficiency in Java and Appium, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute test scripts efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively and clearly articulate testing results and findings.
Experience with Xcode and Android Studio, enabling efficient navigation and testing within the respective development environments.
Knowledge of SQL or other database-related tools for database testing.
Knowledge of the Cards and Payments domain is a plus.
Technical understanding of back office, middleware, and front-end concepts of card-based payment systems.
Experience in Systems Integration Testing of web services and XML interfaces using tools like SOAPUI, POSTMAN, etc.
Preferred technical knowledge in payment platforms such as Base24 switch, WAY4 CMS, Postilion switch, TIBCO middleware, Falcon Fraud monitoring, etc.
Ability to work independently on tasks, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative in completing assigned testing responsibilities
