Must have:
• Should have experience in Automation Framework Design & Development not limited to Cucumber.
• Must have 4+years of experience in Webdriver.IO with Type Script or Java Script and BDD Cucumber.
• Should have experience in CI/CD Pipeline Setup & Implementation, Sanity & Regression of pipeline, and Migration of Existing TCs.
• Expert in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium UI and/or API level test automation
• Good knowledge in OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like Java/C#.
• Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
• Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP.
• Experienced in implementing QA frameworks in Web Applications’ domain using Agile methodologies.
• Thorough understanding and hands on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks.
Good to have:
• Excellent experience with Selenium Java, JMeter and Load Runner preferred.
• Knowledge in security testing, performance testing, performance tuning is a definite plus.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop testing strategies and performing tests to reveal viability of cloud deployment solutions.
• Debugging and Execution of existing TC and proactive in resolving Network/Intermittent issues
• Regularize sprint automation regression and sanity test script enhancement.
• Monitoring the Sanity UI & API Scripts for various business domains, 100% healthy for Sanity Pipeline automation for QA1 and QA2.
• Maintain the Access KeyVault and Report portal ( able to change account credentials for test account)
• Understand all existing regression UI & API Scripts from different business domains, what are still failing and cause of the failures.
• Coordinate the error from QA1/QA2 Sanity Pipeline and handle the logistics to get domain developers to fix the bugs or update the automation script.
• Trouble shoot the pipeline configuration issues.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
• Accountable for QA automation projects, mentor, and provide leadership to automation developers and Leads.
• Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, techniques, automation.
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
• Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders.
• Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, automation, etc.
• Be an escalation point for all matters related to QA automation project and SPOC for the QA team.
• Direct the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework. Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
• Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Processes, Tools & Techniques.
