Lead the team in designing, developing and implementing quality best practices and test strategies
What you'll do
Recruit, mentor and lead a hybrid team of QA automation and manual engineers
Lead the team in designing, developing and implementing quality best practices and test strategies
Improve the overall QA process by identifying gaps or inefficiencies in workflows and suggesting improvements
Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of standards, related disciplines, company strategy and goals, to ensure delivery of a high-quality product compatible with release timeline targets
Develop and track key metrics for quality and team performance, drive their improvement over time, and communicate their status
Understand specifications; generate comprehensive test plans and test cases/ script
Be hands on and take on complex QA activities
Develop automated tests in Java; Enhance Automation Framework and Scripts
Develop in-house tools to aid test automation
Automating Testing of both the portal and the back-end APIs
Perform Functional, System, Integrated and regression test
Documents and presents all findings, and track defects resolution and progress using Confluence and Jira
Make testing an integral part of the development process
Accountable for testing deadlines and software quality
What qualifications will you need to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with strong academic backgrounds
3+ years of experience as a QA Lead / Manager or relevant role
5+ years of experience in developing automation frameworks with Java, HTML, Javascript, Selenium, SQL, Jmeter
Experience Selenium, Serenity, Postman toolset for QA automation
Demonstrated expertise in building automated test solutions, preferably for web sites and associated REST APIs
Demonstrates an ability to create test scenarios, write test cases and identify software defects
Familiar with the agile process, working with a Scrum Master, quality estimate, QA testing process and tools
Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems
Strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communications skills English & Hebrew, and great attention to detail are required
Payments and Cards Testing Knowledge
Experience with automation tools such as ReadiAPI is a plus
Experience with cloud-based services, AWS a plus
IT System administration experience a plus
Hands on experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Stash, Confluence, Artifactory, etc. is a plus
