Minimum 8 years QA experience required as below:
Essential Competencies:
Hands on experience in validating RS-232/485, CAN, Network (TCP/IP, UDP etc.), BACnet, Mod bus, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth protocols
Advanced Software Testing Skills with good domain knowledge in Fire & Security products
Test strategy, test estimation and planning
Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements
Develop and execute automated test scripts for requirements
Hands on development knowledge of C, C#, Java, Python or any programming language
Hands on experience in developing automation scripts for Desktop, Web and Mobile Applications
Good understanding and hands on experience of Selenium and Automation Frameworks E.g.: TDD, BDD.
Experience with Rest Web Service and Soap Service automation testing
Communicate effectively with constituents at all levels
Experience in Agile development methodologies preferable.
Knowledge with automation tools such Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD tools,
Experience in using JMeter or similar load testing tool
Exposure to RTOS/Linux environment
Exposure to validate wireless technologies like RF, Wi-Fi
Working knowledge of Git, JIRA and TFS.
Working knowledge of defect management tool /CVS
Need to demonstrate – Quality, Initiative, Quantity, Dependability and Teamwork
Desirable Competencies:
Experience in Home Automation & Fire domain.
Flexible enough to switch between various testing’s (Device, Automation, Unit , Functional, system, integration etc.)
Experience with testing the Cloud technologies AWS /AZURE is beneficial
