As a QA Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications. You will work closely with developers and other team members to understand product requirements and create automated test scripts. Your role will involve identifying bugs and issues, tracking defects, and working towards continuous improvement of the testing process. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Experience:3 to 5 years of QA experience including the last 2 years in test automation
Skill Requirements:
B.Tech. / MCA degree from a reputed university.
3 to 5 years of QA experience, including the last 2 years in test automation.
Hands-on experience with one of the tools, such as Selenium with Java, is a must.
Should have a sound knowledge of multiple development methodologies (TDD, BDD with Cucumber is a must).
Working knowledge of Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, or similar build integration tools for CI/CD is a must.
Experience in developing function libraries and generic scripts.
Strong in coding using Java, without reliance on record and playback scripting.
Test automation experience on mobile applications using Appium is a must.
Working experience in building tools such as Maven and Gradle.
Strong experience in JUnit is a must. Knowledge of TestNG is desirable.
At least 1 year of experience in any type of remote driver is required.
Need strong experience in Browser Stack implementation and execution.
Experience in visual testing using any tool, such as Percy, will be an added advantage.
Experience in designing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks with industry standards.
Develop automation strategy based on technical analysis, complexity, maintainability, and reusability.
Experience in API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or SOAP UI is a must.
Should be well-versed in databases and functional testing concepts.
Must be a self-learner who is eager to learn new technologies/languages/tools and use them as project demands.
Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects.
Provides accurate implementation level estimates and delivers on them.
Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test development, deployment and execution, test data preparation, and reporting, etc.
Proficient in writing good quality test cases and defect logging using any test management and defect tracking tool(s).
Effectively collaborate and communicate with all project stakeholders, representing the team.
Having a good background in performance testing is desirable.
