Your key responsibilities:
Build and maintain regression automation tests from testing requirements.
Follow in sprint automation by complying the best practices of QA automation.
Follow automation scripting guidelines and develop reusable and maintainable automation code.
Schedule automation scripts based on Release cycles.
Identify gaps between manual and automated tests, continuously improve the automation coverage
Keep up to date and be knowledgeable about the latest tools, techniques and technologies in automated software quality assurance
Maintaining testing standards and ensure that they adhered to, as well as proactively trying to add these standards whenever possible.
Support all phases of testing like FT, SIT and UAT
Your skills and experience
Must Have:
Candidate must have 5+ years of proven experience as a QA automation tester.
Candidate should be familiar with writing SQL scripts.
Excellent communication and debugging skills
Good programming skills in Java
Hands on experience in building hybrid automation frameworks, Behaviour Driven Development, Cucumber frameworks
Good knowledge in API automation, non-functional and functional especially in contract testing
Good knowledge in Selenium
Good Knowledge of the following: HP ALM, JIRA
Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs
Experience writing automated end to end tests spanning the whole system from front end to the backend/database.
Experience in working with source control tools: GIT/Bitbucket
Familiar with Unix and experience writing shell scripts.
Worked in Agile setup and know various agile ceremonies.
