We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer/Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through API testing, Selenium automation, performance testing using JMeter, and basic knowledge of AWS logs debugging. Your primary focus will be to design, develop, and execute test cases, automate test scripts, and analyse test results to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
Perform API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of web services and APIs.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Conduct performance testing using JMeter to assess the scalability and stability of applications under different load conditions.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test plans and strategies.
Execute test cases and analyse test results to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the overall quality of the software.
Investigate and debug AWS logs to identify and resolve issues related to application performance or functionality.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in API testing, including knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman.
Strong proficiency in Selenium automation for web application testing, including knowledge of scripting languages like Java.
Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools to assess the scalability and reliability of applications.
Basic knowledge of AWS logs debugging, including familiarity with cloud-based architectures and log analysis tools.
Understanding of software development methodologies, testing processes, and quality assurance principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate test results and findings.
