Role Responsibilities:
Exploratory, functional, non-functional quality automation of the backend/frontend engine for Index calculation and delivery.
Lead contributor for quality based technical solutions within an agile team.
Experience in building and automating CD/CI frameworks
Full cycle of testing from the theoretical model to production
Implementation of quality tooling and testing for Market Data related projects
Gathering of testing requirements and agreeing between IT, App Support teams, businesses teams in Index business.
Prototyping and developing quality automation tools addressing a diverse range of index and financial products
Maintenance and support of the existing quality automation tools and frameworks
The role reports to the Index Technology Manager
Function as a key tech point of contact for Index services.
Minimum Requirements
Technical/ job functional knowledge
3+ Experience in programming languages (Java, Csharp, JavaScript or Python) and database experience - SQL Server
3+ Experience in QA and Test Automation suites – Selenium, Cucumber etc.
Ansible/Jenkins/Git
Experience in Cloud Platforms - AWS or Azure
Experience in software development methodologies and Agile based delivery
Proven experience of leading the design and delivery of quality automation software
Experience in working on data management and data focussed projects
Experience in building re-usable code, data assets, defining and implementing software engineering best practices & code frameworks.
