Your responsibilities will include:
Working with a team of passionate Engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure the quality of the product in the given time.
Actively participate in Requirement Analysis, Planning, Writing, reviewing and executing test cases, and analyzing results.
Execute backend testing to validate the APIs and Database and analyze the issues/failures in-depth.
Defect logging, tracking, and verification till closure.
Communicating with stakeholders daily on the progress of tasks.
Contribute to the automation goals of the team by learning the existing framework, analyzing and troubleshooting the execution logs, and developing new scripts on a need basis.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
2-3 years of relevant experience in the IT Industry.
Good hands-on experience in API Testing with tools like Postman/Swagger/JMeter/SOAPUI
Basic working knowledge of Programming/Scripting languages like Java, Kotlin and a passion to learn more.
Passion for software testing, quality & test automation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
Experience in an iterative Agile methodology and use of tools like JIRA, Slack, and Wiki, Confluence.
Nice to have:
Experience with automated testing and tools such as Selenium or equivalent Open Source tools with the ability to debug and troubleshoot failed tests.
Experience with test management tools like TestRails/Allure/HP QC/Zephyr is an advantage.
Experience with DevOps tools like CI-CD, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
Experience with Cloud Environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP is an advantage.
