We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and a strong understanding of software testing principles. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure thorough test coverage.
Execute manual testing on various software applications.
Verifying that the application functions seamlessly on various browsers and platforms
Bug Tracking and Reporting:
Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing process.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
Provide detailed and clear defect reports.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a common understanding of testing objectives and priorities.
Participate in regular status meetings to provide updates on testing progress.
Tools and Platforms:
Utilize Jira and Trello for test case management, defect tracking, and project management.
Familiarity with other testing tools and platforms is a plus.
Must-Have:
• 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases.
• Experience in Manual Cross Browser Testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Jira and Trello for test case management and project tracking.
Nice-to-Have:
• Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Javascript) for test automation.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with performance testing and security testing.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
