You work with Product, Engineering and QA teams to plan and deliver high quality products. You will also develop automated test suites for a specific set of products. Use and develop new tools to effectively test products and improve Illuminate Education engineering processes.
You are excited about providing new tools to the QA team to make verification processes more efficient. You work with developers to make hard to test features more testable for QA. You understand the role of a Quality Assurance Engineer and you are a strong advocate for quality you are motivated to consider the user experience of the site for various types of users, test the edge cases of products, and lobby for having problems youve encountered get fixed. What You Will Do Be part of the sprint team and actively contribute to the success of the team by providing high quality to the features developed by the sprint team.
Review and analyze requirements, specifications and technical design documents, providing timely feedback Develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Develop and execute the manual test suite. Perform Smoke Regression Testing. Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved. Execute the already existing automation test suite. Good to have knowledge of technical tools such as Java, Selenium and JMeter.
Who We Are Looking For
BS in Computer Science or a related area.
3 years of relevant work experience in Software Quality Assurance. Passionate about Software Quality and always looking for ways to improve the quality. Experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, load testing, and regression testing.
