Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a test designer and contributor to software quality in the context of a fast-paced, Agile development process.
Duties are specialized within a product line and approaches to problems are determined with input from leadership.
Decisions could cause errors and inaccurate data that are typically identified prior to impacting outcomes for the project.
May provide assistance to less experienced professionals but not responsible to check their work.
Review Product Requirement documents and Engineering Functional Specifications, define test strategy, and scope test effort as part of regular planning cycle.
Work with the software engineering team to resolve issues arising in the test process
Develop and maintain innovative, repeatable QA test plans based on functional requirements, use cases, user interface designs, system design documents and domain knowledge
Work with QA team members, software developers and system and database administrators to trouble-shoot test failures in the various test environments. This may include trouble-shooting database issues using SQL queries, reviewing web server and application server logs, etc.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
Comply with timely completion of training and documentation
Amazon Cloud automation and DevOps experience is a definite plus
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
BS, BA or equivalent experience
2+ years of related experience in enterprise software testing
Familiarity with manual and automated testing software and tools
Experience testing software on mobile platforms is important
Experience in an Agile development environment
