As a QA Engineer, your role would be to take the ownership and take care of the end-to-end quality delivery of the given work. You would be responsible to plan, design and execute functional test cases during the various development and testing phases.
You are involved in the Software Development Lifecycle starting from analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, developing test automation features and testing software - continuously improving these topics.
Your primary focus will be on creating test cases, developing test automation features and execute test activities on different test environments.
You develop high-quality and mostly automated test solutions that meet functional as well as non-functional requirements.
You maintain QA-related project documentation.
You actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc.
As part of a development team, collaborate with other team members to understand requirements, analyses and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test those and support them in production.
Your skills and experience:
Total 6+ years of experience in IT industry with exposure to software Testing, development and maintenance of automation test suite, knowledge, and hand-on experience in implementing test automation frameworks.
Hand-on experience in Test standards and procedures and testing non-functional requirements.
Hands-on experience of Python and SQL is a must. Experience of Google cloud data services will be added advantage.
Experience of working in self-managed Agile teams.
Strong interpersonal skills along with verbal and written fluency.
Ability to define the test strategy, preparation of test concepts.
