Role and Responsibilities:
Knowledge of automated testing software tools with ability to design and develop automated testing programs preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques including the software development lifecycle..
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with specialized software tools; Soap UI, Jira , Jenkins, and other testing tools.
Ability to execute test plans and test scripts for commercial software applications, document expected results vs. actual results, and record software defects.
Knowledge of software development methodologies preferred.
Create test cases from specifications.
Executes test cases and compiles results.
Sets up and maintains personal testing environments.
Tracks defects from detection to resolution in tracking system and works with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Communicates with stakeholders on product issues.
Acquires and maintains knowledge of existing products, operations or systems.
Reviews product documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Provides support to stakeholders prior to GA release of software.
May run scripts to populate data and validate test results.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Relevant academic background (BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology)
3 years SW testing
Experience in:
SW applications testing - including test planning, authoring, execution & defect reporting in banking domain
QA methodology and process
2+ years’ experience in Java in Web-App and debugging
Testing automation tools, frameworks, design approaches and effective implementation techniques
SQL and Oracle DB
Working with Azure cloud environment – Advantage
REST APIs/Web-Service testing tools (Postman, Soap UI, Advanced REST Client) – Advantage
Knowledge of:
Payment systems or/and Banking
Knowledge of payments domain & SWIFT or ISO
PC - including MS Office products
English – mother tongue level
Able to multi-task, is self-motivated and able to motivate others
Team player – ability to work with a team in a dynamic and complex environment
