• Collaborate with the product owner and business analyst to comprehend detailed requirements and articulate test scenarios and cases.
• Compose test cases for every user story within a sprint and conduct the corresponding tests during the testing phase.
• Ensure timely communication with the product owner and business analyst for any clarifications needed to develop test cases.
Who are we looking for?
2-5 years’ experience with:
Developing comprehensive and intricate test strategies and plans for complex software systems, considering various testing methodologies.
Oversee the entire testing lifecycle, including test case creation, execution, defect management, and test closure.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, contribute to test estimations, and provide valuable insights for quality improvements.
Utilize JIRA or similar test management tools to organize, track, and report testing activities effectively.
Leverage tools like Postman, Swagger, and Sauce Labs to optimize testing efficiency and maintain robust test suites.
Conduct root cause analysis and suggest corrective actions to address software defects promptly.
Possess expertise in working with relational databases and demonstrate proficiency in crafting fundamental queries such as Select, Update, Insert, etc.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in test management tools like JIRA and various testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Sauce Labs or any other.
Experience in Database testing on any relational databases
Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for software defects.
Good to have:
Knowledge in automation, including knowledge and experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Webdriver, BDD, and familiarity with Gherkin language concepts.
