As a QA Engineer-II, you will… This position will report to the QA Manager.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers on stories and requirements.
Work with developers and testers
Perform Automation and Functional Testing
Test across platforms & browsers
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the quality of our products to next level
Work in agile team and adhere to agile best practices
Do Functional, Automation and Cross-browser testing.
Work with counterparts on established quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment to determine its intended functionality.
Work with Developers at all stages to promote quality code.
Work closely with the Testing team, Developers and Product for requirements, Testing and deployment activities.
Insprint automation to have automation coverage of new features which will reduce manual effort of the Testers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience into QA and Automation
Good knowledge in understanding of software development lifecycle and quality best practices and tools
Good knowledge on Automation Framework Development Proficient in the use of various automation frameworks like Selenium (preferred), Protractor, Rest Assured, karate etc.
Working Experience in Selenium and WebDriver
Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
Knowledge on implementation of continuous testing as part of CI/CD pipeline
Hands-on experience with API-related technologies HTTP, REST, XML and JSON.
Test automation experience. Experience with any of the following tools & technologies: JUnit, HTTpUnit, HTMLUnit, Selenium, TestNG,Eclipse TPTP, Rest Assured etc.
Able to gather existing manual test cases in the project and automate them to achieve efficiency
Identify, conduct feasibility study and recommend suitable automation technologies for the project
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior
Experience with Bug & Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center/HP ALM, Azure Test Plans etc.
Knowledge on API Testing and experience working with source code control (Git preferable) along with Java/ C# coding skills
Working knowledge of SQL & relational database technology.
Proactively seeks and obtains guidance from more experienced team members and uses these opportunities to develop their skills and knowledge
Identifies, and proposes process improvements in their team or work area.
Knowledge on Performance Testing and its tools like Jmeter
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Solid understanding of Agile development
Working experience with object oriented and 2-3 year of java script programming
Experience with programming language (Java, c-sharp)
Working experience with web services testing for REST and SOAP.
Working experience on script less automation tools to automate the test scripts in fast pace.
Automated test drivers such as Junit, TestNG, Nunit, etc.
Awareness of testing message queue services like JMS.
Working experience with Selenium/Webdriver.
Front end web application tools (Angular JS, NodeJs, Grunt, Jasmine, etc.)
Working experience with development patterns such as TDD and BDD.
Minimum 2 year of working experience with build automation tool like Maven and Ant.
Minimum 2 year of working experience with build management tool like Jenkins, Team Foundation Server, etc.
Knowledge and experience with application performance test plan design.
Minimum 1 year of working experience with performance tools like Jmeter.
Minimum 2 years of working experience with Mobile Testing on iOS and Android.
Minimum 1 year of working experience of mobile test automation tools like Appium, etc.
Experience writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Summary reports
