Responsibilities:
Build and maintain several Layer 2/3 network testbeds.
Depending on interests and capability, contribute to both automation and manual testing efforts.
Collaborate with the manager to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute test plans, document results, and track quality assurance metrics.
Reproduce and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
Provide support during field deployment.
Analyze network packets and logs to identify root causes of issues.
File Jira tickets for failed test cases and discovered bugs.
Collaborate closely with developers to drive solutions.
Participate in QA meetings, engage in discussions, and provide status reports.
Qualifications:
Thorough understanding of Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing, and SD-WAN concepts.
Familiarity with Juniper JUNOS, SRX, EX Switch, or Juniper 128T SSR.
Experience working with Linux operating systems.
Experience level: 5 to 8 years.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Juniper Router & Switch Certifications are a strong plus.
Experience with traffic generation tools.
Knowledge of 802.1x authentication.
Familiarity with Python programming.
