As a QE III, you will
Automate API and UI test cases, integrate automation suite with Release pipeline and execute them on schedule basis and on demand
Develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization
Act as the single point of contact (lead) between Development and Testers for iterations, Testing and deployment activities
This position will report to the Senior -Manager Engineering.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may vary over time and include, but are not limited to
Involve in PI and Sprint planning and work for deliverables
Estimates for own deliverables
Understand the Business functionality and should be able to design test cases
Identify right test cases to automate and automate those test cases
Understand Automation framework and follow defined standards
Unit testing the scripts developed and integrate with CI tool
Execute the test cases and scrips as per schedule and on-demand
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Analyze results, work with Development, QA and Business teams on any issues/defects/bugs
Demo the outcome from each sprint and work for improvements
Mentor junior teammates with process, technology, collaboration with teams
Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.
Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
Operate under minimal supervision.
May help coordinate technical dependencies with other teams
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required Experience
A College degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.
7-11 years of experience into QA and Automation. Knowledge in all QA methodologies, software lifecycles, quality best practices and tools
Working experience on Agile Process and deliverables
Experience with End to End QA process and understanding on QA Metrics
Experience with programming language (preferred Java). Working experience with object oriented java script programming
Working experience with web services testing for REST and SOAP
Working experience with Selenium/Webdriver, automated test drivers such as Junit, TestNG, NUNIT, etc.
Exposure towards front-end web application tools (Angular JS, NodeJs, Grunt, Jasmine, etc.)
Working experience with development patterns such as TDD and BDD.
1+ years of working experience with build automation tool like Maven and Ant.
1+ years of working experience with build management tool like Jenkins, Team Foundation Server, etc.
Exposure towards of testing message queue services like JMS.
Knowledge and experience with application performance test plan design
Experience working in front-end and back-end QA environment.
Experience working on Unix system using putty tool
Extensive experience in database testing, ex: Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server.
Working experience with performance tools like Jmeter. Understands and has some knowledge and preferably working experience of profiling tool like DynaTrace, etc.
Working experience with Mobile Testing on iOS and Android.
Working experience of mobile test automation tools like Appium, etc
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Exposure towards Azure DevOps, TFS and Release pipeline concepts

Experience on software quality practices for testability of products and services
Derive metrics to support deliverable quality improvements
Experience in quality activities for complex projects and processes
Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in prioritizing and execute tasks on multiple applications simultaneously.
