Creation of test plans and embrace new approaches for seeking bugs.
Advise best practices and optimizations in testing and bug fixing processes
Interface with deployment teams.
Keep the UAT environment accessible for client applications
Trouble shoot and recreate issues in simulated environment.
Communication with operations and development stakeholders
Required skills/experience:
5+ years experience in software QA role with Bachelors or higher degree in engineering, sciences, english, business, finance.
5+ years experience in C++/Java and Python programming languages
Experience of testing multi-threaded, low latency and high throughput software suite is highly desirable.
Domain knowledge of trading technologies and experience in financial markets is essential
Hands-on knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies like GIT, Jenkins, artifactory, ansible, confluence wiki, atlassians jira
Experience in creating and implementing unit, functional and integration test suites.
Linux/Windows cross platform multi-language software stack testing experience
Cloud experience with testing real-time components in an AWS environment
Awareness of exchange protocols and asset class symbology – good to have
