Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related
Experience: 4 to 6 years of professional work experience in IT with 2 years of Oracle EBS experience
Scope of Responsibilities:
Experienced with functional testing, possess good integration testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure
Proficient with Oracle EBS, SQL and knowledge of code logic to support the tools and tests
Work closely with the NPI team to develop test scenarios that ensures comprehensive test coverage
Hands on testing that includes analyzing requirements, preparing test plans and building appropriate test cases to validate the functionality being built
Capture, mitigate and /or escalate risks & issues in a timely fashion
Disseminate test results, working to improve tests when features are expanded and perform exploratory testing
Liaison/coordination with global teams to coordinate/execute end-to-end testing
Understand the various business group organizations and objectives to drive valued outcomes
Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners across all functions through prioritization cadences to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time.
Track test metrics, such as test coverage, defect densities, and open defect counts, to gain and share insights about quality issues.
Skills:
Oracle CPQ, EBS application testing experience
Foundational understanding of SQL and databases
Experience in test management tools such as TestRail, ALM etc , Jira
Self-starter with great analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive, a sense of ownership, urgency, and a passion for continuous learning
Passionate about customer satisfaction and learning about the business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical at functional and executive levels
Good to have:
Exposure to Fusion Cloud applications, Salesforce
Basic understanding on test automation
ISTQB certification
