Redica Systems is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our India-based tech team and help us tackle new and ongoing release projects. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, significant experience in software quality assurance and automation, and the ability to effectively manage complexity while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the QA point person for one or more products
Collaborate closely with distributed development resources across multiple offices
Plan, create, and document test plans and cases for projects
Plan, create, execute, and document automated test scripts for projects
Identify and communicate risks along with risk mitigation strategies
Assist in scheduling estimates, timelines, and milestones
Contribute to designing and evolving the company's QA process
Identify issues and generate detailed issue reports
Assist developers in analyzing issues
Qualifications
4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
Experience testing websites, SaaS, and/or web-based technologies
Strong understanding of SDLC and SQA methodologies
Excellent communication skills within a team environment
Strong understanding of web-delivered applications
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web development languages
Experience creating test cases and testing documentation with or without requirements/specifications
Proficiency in manual testing of UI, API, and Databases
Experience in automating UI, API, and Database validations using [mention specific automation tools]
Proficiency in using Jira and Xray as test case management tools and Bitbucket as a pipeline
Knowledgeable about popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Unix)
Major Pluses
Experience with automation tools like Cypress and Pytest
Experience with databases like Snowflake and Dynamo
Experience in load and performance testing
