Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Prioritize and plan testing activities on a daily basis
Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
Perform manual testing and automation testing
Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with other QA engineers.
Write clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product marketing managers) to find ways on how testing process and automation can improve the workflow.
Take part in brainstorms to come up with new ideas and designs that improve existing process.
Skills and Tools:
Working knowledge of test management software, functional and regression testing. Familiar with tools like Testrail, HP-ALM etc.
Experience with Web automation and API automation
Experience with DB Testing
Experience with Agile methodologies. Familiar with Agile Tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint etc.
Experience working with Selenium WebDriver and Appium and/or any automation frameworks.
Experience working on iOS and android platforms
Hands on experience writing scripts using any programming language preferably JavaScript.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Strong organizational skills.
