Job Description

Responsibilities: 

Enforce best practice processes in the areas of functional, system and regression testing using a combination of  manual, automated, load & performance testing 

Define test scope, write, and execute test plans and suites for web, packaged, and mobile applications 

Design and build scalable test automation frameworks for web, packaged, and mobile applications 

Design, build, and baseline performance metrics for web, packaged and mobile applications 

Develop and execute automated test cases using tools like Selenium, Appium, UFT and Tosca 

Develop and execute load and performance scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner 

Report and track defects to closure 

Able to execute multiple projects while managing issues and mitigating risks 

Perform root cause analysis of production bugs and report the same to all stakeholders 

Meet aggressive delivery timelines, coordinate well with remote teams, have the flexibility of working the time  differences, and proactively solve problems 

Keep stakeholders well-informed of testing progress and status, articulating issues, problems, impacts, and  support needs 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships to co-ordinate E2E testing

Communicate fluently and effectively with all levels of business users, technical teams, and management across  the organization 

Able to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in the face of extremely challenging  and fast-paced deliverables 

Qualification: 

A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience to strongly demonstrate the following skills and knowledge: Test design and management, test automation, communication skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and group facilitation skills. This should include experience with defect tracking tools and a working knowledge of  test and defect life cycle and how it ties to the SDLC process 

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience performing load and performance testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner 

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in building test automation frameworks and scripts for web, packaged, and mobile applications 

A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, UFT, and Tosca 

Successful track record of executing QA for large cross-functional programs 

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, QA terminology, and processes 

Previous experience working on Continuous Integration Processes for creating release pipelines 

Knowledge and experience working in agile software development 

Knowledge and experience working on life cycle management tools like Jira, DevOps, Zephyr, and TestRail 

Knowledge and experience working on SFDC, Zuora SMP, and Oracle CPQ is an added advantage 

Previous experience testing web Services (SOAP, REST, and Micro Services) is good to have
