Essential Responsibilities:
Develops test plans and executes them as per project plan.
Writes effective test cases according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored.
Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Takes ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using the discretion of senior members to seek help when necessary.
Works with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
Skilled in core data structures and algorithms.
Qualifications/Requirements
BE/BTech/MTech in ECE /Computer Science /EEE /IT or MCA
2 to 5 years of professional experience.
Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools.
Experience with either one of scripting language: Python/Java-Selenium
Exposure to standard automation frameworks
Experienced in developing test strategies, test plans and test cases.
Experienced in driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing.
Experienced in working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Exposure to tools like Jenkins, Rally, etc
Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
Experience working with relational databases like Oracle , Postgres and SQL.
Experience in working in containerized environment ( Docker, Kubernetes ) will be added advantage.
Experienced in communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
