Offshore QA for the Canada project.
Develop and implement test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies, considering various testing levels (unit, integration, system, regression, etc.).
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues that may not be covered by existing test cases.
Lead and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle.
Work closely with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues.
Provide detailed defect reports and status updates to project stakeholders.
Design and execute performance tests to assess the scalability and responsiveness of applications.
Analyze performance test results and collaborate with development teams to address performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams.
Clearly communicate testing progress, results, and challenges to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related aspects.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Test Engineer, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages for automation (e.g., Java, Python).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good to have SQL and database testing experience.
Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, Agile Tester) and automation frameworks/tools are a plus
